Weekend!

0 min read
I just enjoyed two glorious days off in a row, and I'm currently enjoying my last one before I go back to work tomorrow. Friday my boyfriend and I went to my favorite restaurant for lunch and then went shopping at Indigo (where I got two Keri Smith books, Wreck This Journal and Finish This Book, as well as a GoT 2013 calendar) and HMV (where I got Korpiklaani's new album Manala, and The Horse Whisperer and Oliver & Company on DVD). Then we went to the theater to see Premium Rush (which was excellent!). Yesterday we spend the entire day just relaxing, we didn't do much at all. Today we took our nephew to Mac's for treats and then to the park,

Yay day!

I went driving around town today. I'm getting better, except for turning too fast around sharp corners. Overall I think I've improved significantly. Although I won't deny that I still need a lot of practice. But it's so nice to be out on the road, knowing I'll have my freedom soon, and I'll eventually be able to make the 20-minute drive to work all on my own. I'm very excited :) Also, I keep thinking I have to go back to work tomorrow because I'm so used to having only one day off in a row (damn 40-hour summer weeks), but I have another day off tomorrow, so that's nice!

Back to school?

0 min read
Not for me!!! :) I finally graduated in June, and this is the first time in my life that I've actually been happy to see back to school advertised everywhere. It reminds me of what I've accomplished, all the shit I went through, and that it all paid off. Honestly, I'm 20 years old and I just graduated. Reason being is that I dropped out twice in grade 10 because I was relentlessly bullied, and I almost dropped out of homeschooling too. But anyway, that's all over. I'm a graduate, I never thought I would be able to say that. So, happy back to school, everyone!
